Mekaal Hasan Band by far is one of the most influential bands from the South Asian subcontinent, that came into existence in early 2000s. The band produced their debut album Sampooran in 2004. A mix of Eastern Classical with Western Jazz Rock fusion. Till date, this has been one of the finest musical arrangements that has catapulted Mekaal Hasan Band aka MHB to have a cult following from music lovers around the globe.
In 2014, Mekaal Hasan announced the new lineup in collaboration with some leading artists from India. Sharmistha Chatterjee on vocals, Gino Banks on drums and Sheldon D’Silva on Bass joined the band, along with Mekaal and Ahsan Papu, the flautist from the original lineup. Together they produced one album Andholan (2014), that received much critical accolades from fans from Pakistan and India and around the globe.
In 2015, the band also performed at the Season 8 of the Coke Studio (Pakistan), two songs, Kinaray and Sayon, which won hearts across the borders, and throughout the world!
This session is coming together of the band that was formed in 2014, five incredible musicians. This gives the die-hard fans of Mekaal Hasan Band from around the globe a chance to come and join on this interactive session with the band.

How do I attend the session?
The sessions will be held on livdemy.com. Log onto the site with your registered account 15 minutes before the time of the session and go to the session page. You should see a button to enter the password there when the session starts.Test your mic and video just to make sure everything is working fine.
I'm not able to see or hear anything while in session. What should I do?
LivDemy sessions are best attended on Chrome or Firefox. Make sure your browser is updated to the latest version. If you are still facing any technical issue, please try refreshing your browser. Will I get a recording of this session?
