LivDemy aims at becoming the global go-to platform for learning music online. With easy access to experts and instructions, anyone with a penchant for music of any kind can become a maestro. Be it someone who is interested in classical music studies, basic guitar chords or ukelele tablature - there’s a place for everyone.

Our Story

A shared passion for music brought old friends together again. LivDemy’s co-founders, Almaz Nanjappa and Satyajit Sahu had been colleagues at Adobe. They realised that the corporate life was not for them and started their own ventures before they finally brought LivDemy to life in 2018.

Satyajit, a full-time techie and performing musician taught music in California during his free time. But when he moved back to India, his students wanted to continue learning remotely. Almaz had also been on the hunt to start something similar. They both believed that interaction plays a big role when it comes to learning music. Hence, the idea of LivDemy was born.

Our Team

Almaz Nanjappa, CEO & Co-founder: A serial entrepreneur from a musical heritage family? That’s right. Almaz is a well-known name in the startup ecosystem as well as the music world. His family has deep roots in Bollywood musical history while he has a track-record of launching technology solutions for multi-billion dollar brands.

Satyajit Sahu, CTO & Co-founder: An IIT alumni and entrepreneur, Satyajit has always loved strumming the strings on his guitar. He has been a performing musician and teacher for 25 years now. If he’s not busy with technology, you’ll find him with a guitar.
